Mother Nature decided to bring a dusting of snow to the DMV this week. It wasn’t enough to cover our grass, but it was enough to close schools. Go Figure. I was able to put together a full day’s curriculum for Mr. David. He started off the day by reciting his pledges and then moved through each subject accordingly. When I gave him his assignments, he called me “Teacher Mommy”. When he kept sneezing on me (COVER YOUR MOUTH!!!!), I knew he was coming down with something (and I would too. SMH.) As my luck would have it, he ended up being sick, but I am fortunate that he has a “Doctor Daddy” and “Teacher Daddy” that helped him feel better, do all his homework, and then take the little leprechaun out of the house! That few hours of peace felt like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! (Oy, did I write that out loud!) LOL. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
